I’ve been so distracted lately that I haven’t even thought about or planned anything for Easter. Now that it’s just a few days away, I figured I better try and get myself in the mood for something since I know my daughter will want to decorate eggs and even though my kids are older, they still like to do egg hunts. I pulled out my April 2014 Martha Stewart Living magazine and that did the trick. Looking at all of those pretty pictures and creative ideas got my wheels turning, and while our celebration won’t be very fancy, it’s still great to find inspiration!
I always like to visit the website when I read the magazine and find some of the articles to add to my pinterest boards. Some content is only in the magazine, but some of it can also be found online. Here are some of my favorites:
Mini daffodils and clump moss make a sweet alternative to a candy-filled basket.
Use stickers or punches to decorate eggs
There’s even an app from Martha Stewart Living that lets you browse through 101 different eggs with step-by-step photos and video instruction. The app is only .99 cents in the Apple App Store. You can watch a video demonstration here.
