Back in the saddle

My daughter is all settled away at school and my son starts a local college class tomorrow. After an extremely busy summer, I feel like I am finally able to get back in the saddle for blogging, memory keeping, and getting caught up on some personal projects. I never regret time spent with family and I wouldn't miss those opportunities for the world. But I'm also glad to be able to get back into a routine and spend some time pursuing some ideas I've been thinking about for months.

Some of you have been with me from the beginning of my blog (almost 12 years ago!) and some of you have just recently found me. Those who have been around a long time know that I used to be quite prolific with my blogging. In fact, I posted every single day for several years and I used to write posts a few times a week for another site as well. My new readers will know me as a very sporadic poster since I've only averaged between 1-2 posts a week this summer. Where will I be now? Honestly, Im not sure. Somewhere in the middle I suppose. I guess we will find out together. lol!

For now, I'm going to start tackling the list of posts I've had in the back of my brain for awhile now. I'm excited to be back in the saddle again!
