My word for 2015
I’ve been following Ali Edwards’ inspiration of choosing one word to guide my year since 2008. Here are my past words:
2008 – Create
2009 – Learn
2010 – Do
2011 – Healthy
2012 – Nourish
2013 – Refresh & Renew (a phrase instead of a word)
2014 - Forward
I put a great deal of thought into picking my word each year and it took me an extra long time to get to FOCUS for 2015, but I feel really good about it and I think it’s the word that will help me the most during this coming year.
I decided to get my focus going by creating a layout. You might notice the shape of this one is a little different. I’m going to try a new kind of book and will be using the 10x8 portrait photobook from Adoramapix to print out my album when I’m finished. This layout is actually a two-page spread for that book.
I’m REALLY loving the AdoramaPix photobooks and I will be sharing more about that in tomorrow’s post when I share one of the complete albums I made as a Christmas present. If you’ve never tried Adorama Pix, you can sign up through my referral link and get $5 off when you order - even if you don’t order right now..
Supplies for layout:
Everyday Focus bundle by Jennifer Barrette & Lauren Grier. How awesome is it that they designed an entire kit around the word I chose? I got lucky on that one!
