Reading report for June and July

I've fallen off the reading wagon lately! I was going so strong and then I just fizzled out. I did read one book in June.

Move Your Bus by Ron Clark

Rating - 4 out of 5 stars

Read from June 07 to June 10, 2016

Format - Kindle Edition

I've enjoyed Ron Clark's past books and I always find him to be very interesting and inspirational. He's pretty intense and I don't always agree with his views, but I do think he is an incredible teacher and example. This book was a lot like his others. He gives simple advice and concrete examples on how to follow it. I think it's a good read for anyone who cares about success and wants to understand how to motivate others.

So what happened to reading after that you asked? I went to Chicago with my husband and son and didn't read while we were there. Then I was too tired when we got home. Then I was working on home improvement projects. Then my parents came to visit. Then I went to Cedar City with my extended family. Then I got sick. All the excuses. Oh, and the biggest one of all is probably that I started watching Netflix at night instead of reading. It just shows you how easy it is to fall back into old habits.

The good news is that I'm still on track with my reading goal for the year - as long as I get back to reading.

I plan to hit the books again soon!
