It’s getting more difficult these days to find great magazines to buy since so many have gone under. Thankfully, one of my all-time favorites (Martha Stewart Living) is still going strong! I really enjoyed looking through the latest edition – the home issue.
It’s always fun to look at Martha’s calendar and imagine that I live on a sprawling estate with a staff that could help me pull all of this off. I’d also like to pretend that I’m drinking a natural green juice concoction everyday. Gotta admit that Martha looks great!
I was really excited to see this ad (and coupon) for some new Martha Stewart organizing products at Staples. I headed right over to my local Staples store the next day and was really disappointed that they didn’t carry a single Martha item in the store. I had to go online to find everything.
There are some great products online at Staples and I plan to use that coupon soon. I’m thinking about some of the wall organizers for a small space in my office.
I also like the desk accessories. I’m an office supply junkie!
One of my favorite reasons to look through a Martha Stewart publication of any kind, is simply for the photography inspiration. The photos are stunning! I’m not going to lie to you…I had to go out and buy some cheese, bread, and grapes after seeing this. One of my favorite treats!
I was thrilled to find an entire section on meatless meals in this issue. We are mostly meatless around here (especially my husband and me) so I’m always looking for fresh ideas.
Naturally, my favorite features in any magazine have to do with memory keeping. I love this idea of framing a special outfit!
One of the best ideas I found in the whole issue was making a back to school binder to keep track of all the papers and mementos you want to keep from school. There is even a free download area at marthastewart.com/binder where you can download the fill-in-the-blank kindergarten-through-sixth-grade templates so you can arrange the binder year by year.
So if you are looking for a fun magazine to browse through, I really enjoyed this issue. Martha Stewart Living is available in print or electronic forms. Even though I’m such a digital girl, sometimes I really want to sit down with a beautiful magazine and flip through the pages and dream a little! How about you? Any other magazine fans still left out there?
