You’ve had of having a good hair day? Well, I haven’t had one of those in ages. LOL! I have had some great mail days recently though.
I ordered a bunch of layouts (12x12 and 8x8), journaling cards (3x4) and photo prints (4x6) from Persnickety Prints and as always, they arrived so fast and they are beautiful! I’m going to blog about each of these projects separately so you will be hearing more about them. I just LOVE seeing my photos and layouts printed out. If you haven’t printed in a while, I encourage you to do it. It will renew your love for memory keeping!
I know someone will ask these details so I want to be sure to share them:
- I always print my digital layouts with the matte luster finish
- I always print my photos with the matte luster finish
- I printed my journaling cards with the Project Life cardstock finish that Persnickety Prints offers and I’m really happy with how they turned out. I looked at a lot of paper options and even talked about it on this episode of The Digi Show. I decided to go with the cardstock and they turned out just the way I wanted them to!
- I didn’t get rounded corners on the journaling cards. I generally like nice squared off edges. I did have to resize a few of the cards to get rid of the rounded edges, but I mostly picked designs where the edges weren’t rounded. I really wish more designers (and Project Life as a whole) would offer cards without rounded edges. That’s just me though.
Ok, this is the best piece of mail I’ve received in a long time. My brother is getting married in September! His fiancée made the invitations and did such a great job with them! Bonus points for the cute yellow chevron stripe.
I’ve been in love with this little print on Minted.com for months now and I finally decided to order it. I have a bathroom that has gray countertops and I think some yellow and white accents are just what it needs. I love that they sent this fun card with the print!
My son Alex is really into Kickstarter projects and he saved his money to back a comic book written by an artist in Thailand. He was so happy when it came today! I thought it was super cool to see the stamps and postmarkings on the package.
I bid on a lot of rock band buttons on ebay (been forever since I bought anything there!) for a bulletin board in Alex’s room. We were both pretty excited. Badges baby!
I’ll admit that I’m an online ordering junkie…but it sure helps make checking the mail a lot more fun!
