Ok, if you don’t like Christmas trees and gingerbread houses, then you probably aren’t liking my blog lately. lol! I hope you will forgive me though because it’s so much fun to have festive things to share here on my blog right now. I always get a little burned out on blogging by the end of the year and all the December festivities help me get past that and find new joy in documenting my life.
Remember my Festival of Trees post from the other day? Well, I never even got around to sharing all the great gingerbread houses we saw there. I also left out a cute photo of my nephew and nieces by mistake so I decided that a little double sided 6x6 insert page would be the perfect answer. But first, let’s take a look at the the gingerbread houses – always our favorite part of the festival!
Isn’t this just gorgeous? It’s based on a Thomas Kinkade style house.
I thought the candy corns were a whimsical addition to Santa’s Chalet.
This was one of my favorites. Great textures!
Can I live in this one? It looks so cozy!
Great message! I better go eat something cute.
There were several Hobbit inspired pieces this year.
Yes! Love the gingerbread Hogwarts!
This one is a classic.
Clever to use gum for the roof.
Cute little Christmas Town with Jack Skellington.
Someday, I really want to make a fantastic gingerbread house and donate it to the festival. It’s on my list of things to do. For now, I’ll just scrapbook about all of the ones I get to see.

Those little pages were so easy to put together. They are simple, but I love them! Have you ever scrapped in 6x6 size? Do you mix and match page protector sizes in your album? The only place I do that is in my December Daily album, but I love it!
