Have you heard the news? The bird has landed at The Lilypad! I’m celebrating her big news with a great giveaway here on my blog.
Yes, my friend and Digi Show cohort Peppermint Granberg of One Little Bird Designs fame has migrated over to The Lilypad. I’ve been a longtime fan of her designs, way before we ever had any sort of connection with each other. She is one of the many designers who I discovered because of The Digi Files at The Daily Digi. I vividly remember opening up her contribution, visiting her store, and literally “oooohing” and “ahhhhhing” over the beauty of her designs.
Fast forward a few years to present day and I think I have almost every OLB kit ever released residing on my external hard drive. Some of my all-time favorite layouts are scrapped with Peppermint’s simply fabulous creations. It’s difficult to say which one of her kits is my favorite because I truly love all of them, but for those of you who are new to One Little Bird, I thought I would link up to a few that I believe everyone MUST have in their stash! Steph and I both mentioned several of these in the Favorites Folder episode of The Digi Show.
If you know anything about Peppermint, you surely know that she is a shadowing genius. Seriously, I believe she should win an award of some sort for her shadowing skills! If you want to drastically improve your shadowing, load up her styles. Now!
I’m a pushover when it comes to travel kits – I simply must have them all! I love the colors of this Metro kit and the embellishments are unique and fun. My favorite thing about One Little Bird kits is that the patterned papers are so clean and classy. Nothing overpowering, just complimentary. She simply rocks small prints and I’m crazy about her chevrons!
This Worn collab kit (with Sahlin Studio) has to be my most-used One Little Bird kit. I’ve scrapped several layouts with it and I see even more in my future. Wonderfully neutral but not boring, it works with so many themes! I’ve used it on baby boy pages, as well as heritage and travel layouts.
I swoon over the stacked suitcases in this Vagabond kit and the word art is just perfect! I used this kit on some Epcot pages.
These Walls – one of the newest OLB releases is another favorite for me. I actually used it for a travel page and I have more plans to scrap about our home with it.
