I think we as humans tend to overcomplicate things. I took my son to the Driver’s License office yesterday so he could get a state issued ID card. He doesn’t need a driver’s license, but he does need an official identification card. We went at one of the least crowded times of day and it was still a crazy experience. You have to stand in a line to get a number to wait in another line. What a system! The good news is that now he’s got the card he needs and he’s registered to vote. Glad we got that done!
Scrapbooking is another one of those things that is so easy to overcomplicate. There are SO many supplies, SO many photos, and like a bazillion different ways to make a page. It’s too easy to get stuck and never actually get anything done. I always keep this in mind when I create new templates. It’s important to me that my templates make the process easier and less complicated. You just add photos and whatever papers or embellishments you like. I love this set because it helped me simplify and get to the fun part of documenting my memories!
Includes: 2 layered 12x12 templates and 1 24x12 template in TIFF and PSD formats
There’s no need to overcomplicate the scrapping process and I often find that pages with clean and simple lines end up being my favorites! These templates are perfect for showing off photos and work especially well with journaling cards, scanned documents, and scrapping with lots of photos!
I’ve included some layout samples to inspire you. All page credits and fonts are listed with links when possible.
Go to my scrap shop or purchase here by using cart buttons. Regular price = $2.50.
Here are the layouts. All images are linked to my Flickr account for credits.
My sweet kids back in 2005. *Sigh* they look so young!
Did you know I testified for a Utah House of Representatives committee meeting for a bill to help kids with autism? I’m proud to say that the bill was later passed and is still in effect today!
Double page spread of my son’s 1st grade school year. I love using scanned documents on a digi page.
I hope you feel motivated to simplify your scrapping process and get some layouts done. It’s a great feeling!
