I can’t believe I was on vacation on the 12th of the month again! Last month I was in New York City on the 12th and this month I was at the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, Utah on the 12th. It’s one of my favorite places to be, so it was easy to take pictures there. This time my parents joined us for the trip so my Mom and I each took at least 12 photos that day.
My kids started off the day by working on a puzzle we packed.
One of the best things to bring on vacation is a Sharpie marker. We marked our water bottles with our names so no one accidentally drank someone else’s.
We were pretty lazy in the morning and then we went out for lunch at a great pizza place called Centros.
Honestly, there are not a lot of great places to eat in Cedar City, but this one is excellent!
Everything we had there was delicious, but the mushroom pizza with crème fresh was to-die-for!
Love the use of wooden pallets for walls. Very cool!
We did some shopping on main street and went into a fun little drug store that has a soda fountain. My Dad was in heaven with a Coke float, my Mom had the Fred Adam’s special (chocolate coke), and my daughter had a lime-rickey. Soda pop makes me and Alex sick (high fructose corn syrup) so we got chocolate raisins and peanut clusters instead.
My daughter was thrilled when we found scarves. She has so many scarves already, but I’m a sucker for buying her more because she’s so creative with them and they always look great on her.
We all went to see Brave in the movie theater. I really enjoyed it!
We grabbed an early dinner and then went to the festival to attend the orientation for that evening’s plays.
We tried on some silly hats in the gift shop. I love this one of Riley with my Mom.
We had a great time at the Green Show that night. It’s always so fun to watch the performers.
Then we saw Merry Wives of Windsor (no photography allowed in the theater). What a great day!
