I’m still feel a bit of disbelief when I look at the calendar and see that it’s June, but I’m sure glad it is! June is one of my favorite months. When I was trying to pin down the reason for this, I came up with a lot of things that I associate with the month of June. I decided rather than just make a list, it would be fun to link you up to something inspirational (via pinterest) for each one.
No school! I love having to time to relax and do fun stuff with my family.

Seems to be a month for weddings. I went to a fun one the other night where all the decorations were homemade pinwheels made from scrapbooking papers. Even the boutonnieres were pinwheels. It was the bride’s idea and the groom’s mother made them all. Fun for a summer wedding!

Father’s Day. On top of all the manly birthdays during the month, I also have Father’s Day gifts to think about for each of our Dads and my hubby.

Yardwork and gardening. June is one of my favorite months to enjoy my yard. I have a few bushes that have gorgeous pink flowers that only bloom in June and I love that everything is green and fresh.
Barbecue! I love to cook outdoors and I’m the official grill master in our family.

Eating outside. There’s something special about eating outside and I love to sit on our patio and have dinner under the umbrella. I’m hoping to go on some picnics this year.
