This event will be hosted by Lynette and I wanted to share the message that she sent me:
I wanted to let you know about a fun event I'm starting for local digital scrapbookers called Digi Night Out. Basically it's an event I'll put on every other month on the first Saturday of the month (the first one is scheduled for July 7). There'll be prizes, a live speed scrap, a featured designer, a free mini kit, and the best part is that it's hours of uninterrupted scrapping time.
Before I give you links to find out more, I just wanted to say a big fat THANK YOU for all of the inspiration you've provided me. Over the past year I've been following your blog, listening to The Digi Show, and reading The Daily Digi. I've been so impressed and inspired by all the content you create. The fact that you so freely share your passion made me want to do the same. Attending Digiscrapapalooza really gave me the motivation I needed to make this happen, and I left a comment on The Digi Show episode that was recorded in Vegas about how these inspiring women inspired me to create something of my own. That something is Digi Night Out. :)

Isn’t that cool? I think it’s so neat that Lynette is following her dream and doing something that will be fun for so many people! I’m not going to be able to make it to this first one, but hopefully I will be able to pop in to a future event. If any of you go, I’d love to hear about it!
