We are already 117 days into the calendar year and I’m happy to report that not only am I keeping up with my iPhone photo of the day project, but I’m truly enjoying it! On the one hand, they are kind of lousy little phone pictures (when it comes to resolution), but on the other hand, as a collective whole they are one of the best representations of my everyday life I have ever produced. It’s easy and fun to take a photo a day now that I gave myself permission to just use my phone for this project. While none of these are masterpieces, I have some definite favorites so far.
116:366 spring feet - capri pants, sandals, and painted toenails all mean it's getting warm around here
86:366 St. George. I still am always amazed that there’s a place in Utah where palm trees grow!
74:366 Pi Day 3.14 I love it when I remember to do cool stuff like buy a pie on Pi day!
75:366 a note from my son This one makes me giggle. We had a light switch that got a little off-kilter. The switch part was sticking out too far from the plate. My son kept mentioning that this needed to be fixed and I told him I would talk to Dad about it. It got brought up a couple of times over the course of about 10 days but we were always too busy to do anything about it. One morning when I woke up, I saw this handwritten note from my son. I guess he decided we needed something to get us going on this. If you knew how much he dislikes writing, you would understand that this must have gotten to a pretty serious status in his mind. That Saturday, he got to help repair it and I could tell he was relieved. I still smile when I see this photo.
I’m excited to keep going with this project and I can’t wait until I have a full year of phone photos to look back on!
