I’m happy to say that I finally have social media icons in my blog sidebar! Might not seem like a big deal to all of you, but it wasn’t the easiest thing to figure out how to implement here on my typepad blog. I’m pleased with how it turned out though and I thought it would be fun to just do a quick overview of where you can find me and why I like to hang out in each place.
RSS FEED
This is the symbol for rss which means that you can subscribe to blog content and read it a reader. I personally use Google Reader to subscribe to the blogs I love and I use feedly so they look pretty when I read them! You can subscribe to my rss feed by clicking on the cute orange feed button at any time.
It might sound superficial to say that Pinterest has changed my life, but it’s true! I love Pinterest for so many reasons and I’m very active there. Twitter is another one of my favorite online hangouts. I tweet about my favorite articles, fun finds, and digital scrapbooking purchases. I’m on twitter most weekdays and sometimes on the weekend during an occasional shopping binge. lol! Follow me on twitter by clicking on the cute little birdie button.
I use my official scrapbook lady facebook page the same way I use my twitter feed. I post links to the same things I tweet about on twitter. Some people prefer the facebook format over twitter. It all depends on where you like to hang out. I find value in both places and enjoy interacting with my readers. To follow me on facebook, click on the blue facebook button.
FLICKR
I’m a HUGE fan of Flickr and I post all of my photos and digital layouts there. You can follow my photostream and/or mark me as a contact on Flickr. I help Steph run the Digital Scrapbooking Inspiration Flickr group if you want to join. Instagram is a new passion of mine. I really didn’t expect to be so taken in with these quirky little pictures! I also share my Instagram photos on Flickr in this set if you are interested. If you are an Instagram user, you might enjoy following me by clicking on the Instagram icon button.
GOOGLE +
I’ll admit that I haven’t done anything with Google+ yet, but I have a profile set up because I can see potential there. I’ve been reading some interesting articles about future uses. If you do the Google+ thing, you can find me by clicking on the blue Google icon.
