Believe it or not, this photo was not edited or enhanced in any way. The sky really was that blue when I snapped this photo last week on a sunny day in Disney’s California Adventure theme park. I’m a huge fan of beautiful blue skies and I really long for some blue at this time of year. I swear that Salt Lake’s sky gets more gray every year. I really don’t remember it being so bad when I was younger. Thank goodness for photographs because I can enjoy beautiful blue at any time. Sadly, I only have a handful of pictures with a vibrant blue sky.

I think it’s fascinating that the blue in the sky is different in every photo. I’m also surprised at how hard it was to find blue sky pictures in my stash. Either I don’t have a lot of bright blue skies in my life, or I don’t take enough pictures of the ones I do get to enjoy. I think it’s a little of both. I’m going to keep my eye (and camera) out for blue in the future!
