The process of putting together my December Daily album (using Project Life supplies) has become a big part of my holiday experience this December. I almost feel like I need to do a page about making this album.
Speaking of albums… I have my nice red linen 12x12 book now and it’s so much fun to see my pages inside! I really feel like the project has come to life now that it has a home.

December 9th & 10th:
These were 2 of the most festive days I’ve ever experienced in the month of December and are already favorites of mine. We spent the weekend at the Grand America Hotel with our kids (yes, we spoiled ourselves!) and it was such a magical place to be. My daughter and I took a lot of pictures together so I’m including several of hers as well. She really is a great photographer!
I’ve been itching to use one of these 6x12 page protectors and I knew that some of the tree shots from the Grand would be perfect. I just placed the 2 photos side by side on a 12x12 canvas (in Photoshop Elements 10) and had it printed at Costco. Then I just trimmed it down the middle to get my 2 large photos.
I love the way they look in the album
Here’s the first full page about our Grand America adventure
I only used photos for this page. I used a corner rounder and added some text on the photos in Photoshop Elements 10.
I love this page full of photos from the toy store at the Grand. It is the coolest toy store! I also included a little piece from one of the fold-out business cards. I used part of an overlay from Ali Edwards to include the date.
I used a digital journaling card and some digital word art. I added some text to the self-portrait of me & my daughter, but it got cut off from the corner rounder. I guess I’m going to have to redo that since it will drive me crazy forever and ever.
I especially love this photo of my daughter on the ground to get a photo of the chandelier. She’s so cool!
This page includes a digital journaling card and a physical card from the turquoise core kit. set.
This next page makes me giggle because it’s filled with silly photos!
Hubby & I had fun in the photobooth at his company party. Apparently, some random waiter also hopped in for some self-portraits. We just laughed and laughed about that so I knew I had to include those photos in our album.
I’m not even going to feel bad for taking up 6+ pages of my album with this adventure because I’m happy to have those fun December memories to include.
