I’ve come to realize over the past several years that my true passion is scrapbooking. You are all probably saying “Really?” – lol! I think we all know that is my passion! More specifically, I guess I have realized that what is important to me is not just creating pages, but learning how to make them meaningful through design, content, photography, and journaling techniques. Because I love to learn, I’m frequently signing up for online classes in just about any topic remotely relating to scrapbooking. I’ve taken a TON of classes (thank you internet!) and I even blogged about my experiences in the article on Online Classes for Scrapbooker’s at The Daily Digi. Oh, how I wish I could have taken classes like these from the comfort of my own home when my kids were little!
I’m extra busy these days so I’m pretty choosy about what I sign up for, but here’s a new class from Get It Scrapped that I’m currently working on. I’m a new affiliate for Get It Scrapped, but a long time fan. I’ve taken classes there from Katrina Kennedy on photography and really loved them. The site is very user-friendly and the content is top notch. My readers know that I will NOT recommend something unless I’ve tried it out and believe in the quality. I stand by my word.
This is the class:
Building Pages from Get It Scrapped
This is a BIG product. There are 12 lessons totaling over 140 pages in an indexed pdf, 12 video lessons totaling over 100 minutes of instruction, and 23 page sketches and layered templates.
I’ve already started working my way through the lessons and I’m having so much fun! I’m surprised at how much I’ve learned already and more than anything, I appreciate that I’m learning to use my creative time more effectively. These pages came together so quickly, and they helped me learn some really cool design principles!

I love scrapbook education – it’s what I do here, and on The Daily Digi, all the time! I love to teach others about scrapbooking, and I love to learn new things for myself. It just makes it all so much more fun. Shouldn’t scrapbooking be fun? I think so!
If you sign up for the Building Pages class (or any other one for that matter), I would love to hear your thoughts about it.
