Right now I really look forward to Tuesday night each week. LOST only has 9 episodes left before it ends for good and one of my favorite times of the week is when Hubby and I sit down to watch LOST together. We TiVo it (record on a DVR) so we can fast forward through all the commercials. We finish up pretty late and I can never sleep after since my mind is trying to figure out all the wild stuff in the show, so Wednesday mornings are NOT my favorite time of the week right now. I guess it will all be over in May though.
One thing I do love about Wednesday mornings (or even sometimes late on Tuesday night) is watching LOST UNTANGLED. It’s a very silly recap of the latest episode on abc.com and you can even catch up with some old ones as well. The Dr. Chang puppet is a favorite around here! I don’t let my kids watch LOST because I know it would be too intense for them. I do let them watch LOST UNTANGLED though and we talk about the show as a family. My son has read the entire LOSTPEDIA (seriously!) and he fills us in on a lot of theories about the show. We always insist that he not tell us about any spoilers though – wouldn’t want to ruin the fun.
If you haven’t watched LOST, I would suggest you borrow or rent the DVDs (or buy them) because that is the best way to watch. Even when you can fast forward through the commercials, it still kind of ruins the intensity of the show, nothing is better than watching it uninterrupted. We didn’t jump on the LOST bandwagon until the show had been on the air for a few seasons so it was fun to have oodles of shows to catch up on.
Sorry to bore you if you’re not a LOSTIE! And if you are one, well then you totally understand the obsession!
