The Festival of Trees is a wonderful tradition in Utah to help raise funds for Primary Children's Hospital. It is an amazing event and I have attended the festival for many years. I remember going to it when I was a young girl. You can read more about the festival here.
I have taken my own children to the festival many times and they love it also. We got the chance to go the other day so I thought it would be fun to share some of our photos here. I also did a 2 page layout about it that I will post after the photos.
We usually start with the little trees. It is fun to see how many different ways there are to decorate a Christmas Tree!
It is fun to see what comes with some of the trees. Many of them have a lot of toys and gifts included. Everything is donated by very generous individuals, businesses, and organizations.
There are HUNDREDS of trees. I wish I knew how many in all. The website says there are more than 1,000 displays of trees, wreaths, quilts, and gingerbread houses.
My favorite part is always the Gingerbread Houses. Look at some of the amazing creations!
an outhouse that says "Have a Regular Christmas" Haven't seen one of those before. LOL!
We really want to make a gingerbread house now!
Here's my 2 page layout about the Festival for my December Daily album:
