Instead of posting a scrapbook page today for my "Scrappy Sunday" theme I usually have, I'm going to post my completed roundup (see yesterday's post). It is one of my most valuable scrapbooking tools after all so I think it is a good fit for today.
I'm feeling good that I have my February roundup done and I've even completed most of the tasks!
What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
I'm still focusing on learning as my motivation for reading right now and I'm really enjoying the focus this has given me. Most of what I read this month had to do with my children's school assignments but I did find some time to enjoy The Intellectual Devotional on Modern Culture. I listened to it on audio book but I know I would enjoy it even more in printed form. I like audio books but this one was a little tedious to listen to because of all the dates. My kids liked listening to it in the car though so that was neat.
What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month?
The Super Bowl (Steelers won), several Jazz games (which they won), a tribute to Larry H. Miller, LOST, Sonny with a Chance, Wizards of Waverly Place, The Prince of Egypt, and I went to the Pink Panther 2 movie with my kids.
What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends?
Had a read-a-thon day with my kids, went to dinner with my in-law's for my SIL's birthday, and I taught my daughter to digi scrap. I even gave her my old external hard drive and got myself a new one. :) Hubby got invited to sit in a suite at a Jazz game and the kids and I got to join him. I went to a Valentine dance with my hubby. We also went out to dinner with some old friends.
I went on a field trip to the state capitol with my kids and the Utah Virtual Academy. It was such an amazing experience! Then I took my kids out to lunch at Les Madeleines where we had delicious sandwiches and cupcakes. Yum!
Oh, and I got addicted to facebook! Remember when I wasn't even sure I wanted to do it? Now I'm really enjoying the whole thing and I even have a scrapbook lady page set up. You know what is really silly? I'm way OCD about the flair buttons. I have gone a little overboard on collecting them and have even made some of my own. Check out my collection!
ok, I have a problem - I admit it.
What gifts did I give and/or receive?
I made a picture for my sister-in-law using digi supplies. Hubby and I didn't exchange gifts for Valentine's Day (we rarely do) but we got my son a new Dave Barry book and gave my daughter some Little Pet Shop toys.
What special or unusual purchases did I make?
I really didn't buy much at all this month other than digi scrap downloads. I did get a few new purses that I really like from Lug. I got a black moped day pack (now I just need a moped - lol) and a brown skipper shoulder pouch.
What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
I had a rather large mole removed from the top of my head so I now have more chunks missing from my scalp. Not cool. ( I had 3 golf-ball sized cysts removed from my head back in 2005 and a few smaller ones removed since then). The good news is that the biopsy came back just fine. The dermatologist had me a bit freaked out because he said it had a blue-ish tint to it which can sometimes indicate cancer.
What were my disappointments this month?
I barely did any exercising. My Dad broke his foot in 3 places so I'm worried about him. Had to send my computer back to Dell because it needs some serious help. Watching our 401K savings tank in the stock market is pretty sucky as well.
What were my accomplishments this month?
Here's a recap of all the pages I completed in the month of February (images are clickable to gallery or blog links on most of the layouts - a few were not posted publicly)

I also designed 2 new kits!

I think February was a good month for me but March is always one of my favorite months (my birthday, wedding anniversary, the start of spring, and a week off from school for spring break) so I'm looking forward to a great new month ahead!
