Happy 2009! I hope the New Year is a happy one for all of us! Before we get too far into the new year, let's be sure to wrap up the old one in Katie the Scrapbook Lady style by doing one last roundup. Be sure to go through the December roundup below. And if you've been faithful about your monthly roundups you will have an easy time doing a year end roundup. Even if you haven't been doing these regularly, you can still work on a recap of 2008 and might I suggest putting roundups on your New Year's Resolution list?

If you are a "regular" 'round here, ya'll know the drill. If not, well, here's the scoop!
Think of this as a sort of "show and tell" about the past month. Answer some or all of the questions to "roundup" memories and great information to use for journaling and scrapbooking. This year I'm going to try to include more photos with my roundups to keep them fun and visually appealing.
I challenge you to join me in using the roundup tool. You can post your answers on your blog, use them on a layout, or just jot them down to as a record of the month's activities. You don't have to answer every single question and do all the tasks, just do what you can. You will be glad you did!

Backup your digital pictures to cd/dvd and upload them to an online site or two for an extra backup. Send the links to the online albums to friends and family.
Choose photos (or digital layouts) to be printed out and get that done while you are thinking about it.
Make sure your scrapbooking area is cleaned up and organized. Put away new purchases (or organize your hard drive if you are a digi scrapper)
Look over the calendar for the coming month and make note of upcoming events you will want to capture for your scrapbooks.
